NFL Cover Ltd provide cover for automobile accidents, as well as
providing car hire when necessary.
Requirements
They needed a database to enter all the policies sold by the staff. The
system needed to be used by dozens of staff concurrently, and provide a range
of reports. It also needed to secure the data from accidental deletion by
staff, and be easy to use by staff with little exposure to computers.
Solution
We created a system out of the contact, project, invoicing and reporting
modules written in Microsoft Access, that was used by all the staff, and
enabled the company to expand in size three fold. The system gives
instant status reports for managers; one key area which makes the
software an integral component in the core processes of this dynamic
company.

Stonewest Ltd based in East Croydon are the major specialists in
building restoration, conservation and stone masonry, working on all the major
heritage sites around the country.
Requirements
They needed a database to coordinate the various projects they were working on,
to upgrade ACT to something more particular to their needs, and to keep all
their data in one place for secretarial and clerical staff to input and send
letters etc.
Solution
By plugging our contact module into the project module, and adding the various
screens and Microsoft Windows forms they wanted, the application is used by all
staff from identifying potential projects, through providing tenders, to
finishing a project. The application was finished on time and within
budget, and is used by almost all staff. |
